- Where it began: In 1903, Farmers State Bank was chartered in Davey, just north of Lincoln. The bank moved to Lincoln in 1960 and became Cornhusker Bank. Today, Cornhusker Bank has six convenient locations and several ATMs around the city.

Cornhusker Bank was also the first bank in Nebraska to initiate Check Imaging, which gives customers a simplified record-keeping system and copy of each check that clears their account.
