About Us

2012 Downtown Garden Market
For a sixth year, the Nebraska Department of Agriculture and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will host the downtown Garden Market, this year in a new location, at Pershing (Centennial Mall and M Street) on the south side lawn. The relocation is occurring due to renovation of Centennial Mall.

The Market has been well received by both vendors and patrons, who are predominately employees within the State Office Building and surrounding businesses. This unique Market provides farmers an opportunity to sell fresh produce in a work site setting, as well as provide increased access to fruits and vegetables to busy working people. Additionally, it brings together two state agencies to promote and support Nebraska-grown produce.

Market Details:
Wednesdays from July 11 - and August 29 (7 weeks total)
Time: 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. (or Sell Out)
Products Sold: Fresh produce only
